Winn$tock - The Movement Center of Manitoba

Winn$tock 2007 is Winnipeg's Premier Black Tee Shirt event and the third annual financial services industry battle of the bands. On April 12, 2007, Winnipeg's finest brokers, bankers and insurers lost their tie, strapped on a Gibson and rocked out to raise money for the Movement Centre. The Movement Centre is a Winnipeg-based Charity that helps children and adults with disabilities gain strength, confidence and independence. Our Winn$tock event this year was a huge success! $85,000 was raised!

From February 11 to 24, 2007, 22 CIBC Wood Gundy employees, family members and friends climbed through rainforest, desert and snow to reach the 19,340-foot summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. By the time they successfully reached the summit, they had raised more than $520,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Since the CIBC Wood Gundy Climb for the Cure tradition began in 2004, the firm has raised more than $1,000,000 for breast cancer research, proving that you can reach new heights while raising money for a good cause.
