David Balsdon

David Balsdon has been with Mavrix since 2001 and has over 20 years experience in the financial industry. David was appointed Chief Compliance Officer of Mavrix Fund Management Inc. in April 2008 and is Secretary-Treasurer and Director of the Mavrix Resource Limited Partnerships. In addition to these duties, he is also Vice President of Dealer and Sales Services and is responsible for Mavrix Client Services and various marketing support functions. David represents Mavrix at IFIC and periodically serves on IFIC committees. To compliment these current responsibilities, David can draw on his experience in mutual fund operations, marketing support and product development as Vice President of Operations and Administration at Mavrix from 2001 to 2008 as well as management positions at a major Canadian mutual fund company and a major Canadian custodian prior to 2001.
