Eric Yan is the portfolio manager of the Mavrix Asia Pacific Fund. Prior to joining Mavrix in August 2007, Eric spent three years with a major bank-owned brokerage firm focusing on equity and commodity research covering China and India. Eric has also worked as a senior trader with China’s largest metal and mining trading group for eight years. Eric is a CFA charter holder. He earned his MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a B.A. from the Nankai University of China.
