Big Smoke Riders

Founded and established in March 2002 by ten former executive members of the now

disbanded, Toronto Chapter Harley Owners Group.. Based in Toronto Ontario Canada,

Big Smoke Riders is an American V-Twin Touring Association dedicated to provide a

structured atmosphere that promotes social activities formed around the common passion of riding American V-Twin Motorcycles. Our membership roster boasts an eclectic mixture of individuals that includes public servants, corporate executives, small business owners, entrepreneurs, financial professionals, tradesmen, teachers, sales people, artists, truckers and many other essential members of the workforce.

Our Mission

To create a platform that nurtures enjoyment, assistance, friendship and information to all members. All chapter activities are carried out in a safe manner and are conducted under the guidelines included in our charter. The BSR charter also mandates all members to present a positive image of Big Smoke Riders and the sport of motorcycling within the community.

Safety Record

BSR has pioneered the methods for conducting group rides and has also developed a

Road Captains School that is exclusive to members of Big Smoke Riders. Chapter Group Rides are conducted every Sunday and during the span of six years (four as Toronto Chapter HOG. and three as BSR) members have enjoyed weekly group outings without a single accident or unsafe incident. Big Smoke Riders also conducts unescorted charity rides and we are very proud of our record of safely moving an unbroken column of 50+ bikes through traffic without police escort.
